Turkey can often get a bad rep as being flavourless and bland- but I assure you that's not the case with these burgers! They are loaded with spices and herbs, and don't contain any breadcrumbs, so they are gluten-free as well!
Simply combine the ingredients, pan-fry, and serve along your favourite side for a low-carb, high protein meal!
*Serves 4*
Ingredients:
-1 lb of ground turkey
-1 tsp of salt
-1 tsp of chili powder (use less if you don’t like spice)
-½ tsp paprika
-½ tsp garlic powder
-½ tsp onion powder
-½ tsp cumin
-½ tsp ground coriander
-2 green onions, thinly sliced
-¼ cup of chopped parsley .
Method:
1. Combine all the ingredients in a bowl. Use your hands to mix well, but do not overwork the meat.
2. Form your patties: split the mixture into 8 even sized balls. If you want larger burgers, split into 4.(These are more the size of sliders, so they cook quickly.)
3. Flatten them out and shape them into circular patties.
4. Pan fry them with a little bit of oil, 5 minutes per side.
Serve hot! I love serving these alongside a salad, dressed in a tangy vinaigrette!
