These vegan, gluten-free nutrient dense brownie bites are sweet, chocolatey, fudgey and don't contain any artificial or added sugars. They're also great for meal prep and travel well, so you can have snacks on-hand for whenever you want them.
They are naturally sweetened with Medjool dates, which have a beautiful, natural sweetness and caramel flavour. Dates are also quite nutritious, so eating them in moderation, does have its health benefits. These bites are also made with almond flour, which, combined with the dates, makes this treat full of healthy fats, fibre and protein.

Time: 15 minutes
Ingredients:
-1 cup dates (roughly 10 dates), pitted
-3/4 cup almond flour
-1/4 cup cocoa powder
-1/4 cup rolled oats
-2 tbsp flax seeds
-1 tbsp coconut oil, melted
-1/4 tsp sea salt
Method:
Soak the pitted dates in warm water for roughly 10 minutes, or until soft.
After 10 minutes, remove the dates from the water and squeeze, to remove any excess water.
Add the dates and all the other ingredients to a food processor and pulse until a crumbly texture forms.
Scoop out 1 tbsp of the mix, and, using your hands, roll them into balls.
Place the balls in an airtight container and place them in the fridge to chill for an hour.
They are now ready to be enjoyed!
